What you’ll achieve

As a Data Engineering you will join Data Engineering team that curates petabyte-scale data sets for the analytics purpose by leveraging Dell Big data Platform.

You will:

  • You will be responsible for providing the required data engineering capabilities that will enable ingestion and sustaining of the new data sets
  • Collect and transform unstructured data into actionable insight
  • Provide Deep expertise on data sources, required transformations, quality, consistency, velocity, access
  • Develop and Maintain self-service capabilities for Business KPI drill-down needs

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced English level to work in a global team
  • Relevant experience in Data or BI engineering dealing with large complex data scenarios.
  • ETL development using Hadoop, Beeline, Impala & PySpark and advanced knowledge in SQL as a language
  • Proven ability to work with varied data infrastructures – including relational databases, Hadoop and file-based storage solutions
  • Expertise in optimizing queries and ETL tasks involving large amounts of data

Desirable Requirements

  • Education (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Additional languages including Python and Linux
